Supporting the Work of Community Development

The Indianapolis Coalition for Neighborhood Development (ICND) is the trade association of neighborhood-based community development corporations that facilitate the comprehensive redevelopment of Indianapolis neighbhorhoods by promoting communication, collaboration, and cooperation amoung Indianapolis CDCs.

The Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED) is a statewide organization that promotes and supports its members' efforts through training, direct technical assistance, and public policy advocacy.

Local Initiatives Support Coporation (LISC) provides grants, loans and equity investments to CDCs for neighborhood redevelopment.  The City of Indianapolis through it's comprehensive plan, distributes federal community development block grant dollars to support a variety of housing efforts.

The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership (INHP) assists the CDCs with financial support for housing development.

The National Alliance of Community Economic Development Associations is the national trade association for the community-based economic development industry.
